Better care for mother and child in Kenya

In Kenya, the maternal and child mortality rate is high. Every year, 342 women die for every 100,000 childbirths. By comparison, in the Netherlands that number is five. With the project 'Better care for mother and child in Kenya' we are going to do something about it. We train midwives and local healthcare providers and ensure that hospitals get their finances in order so that the quality of care improves.
