Time flies, and with the arrival of spring, we've all set our clocks forward to summertime here in the Netherlands. The last two months have been bustling with activity at the Global Health Hub! From insightful interviews to an engaging debate: we certainly had a lot going on. We are thrilled to share our latest developments with you.

Debate Recap

The first debate on the Global Health Strategy took place in The Hague recently on April 4th. The debate featured Minister Dijkstra from Medical Care and Minister Van Leeuwen from Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. The debate, a so-called commission debate, included the Commission for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. Several Hub partners were present at the Debate. Welcoming New Partners

We are thrilled to welcome our newest partners, Access to Medicine Foundation, Health Action International (HAI) and Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM).

Are there any other organizations that should join our collaborative efforts? We are thrilled to get in touch with them. Together, we can make a difference! Reach out to our secretariat at globalhealth@minvws.nl.

Co-Leader Meeting

On April 18th the first co-leader event of the Hub will be hosted. Co-leaders from the three Communities of Practice will convene to discuss their plans and goals. We aim to ensure alignment, foster mutual learning, and facilitate idea exchange among co-leads. Strengthening community management and promoting collaboration will be at the forefront of the discussions. The co-leads can convene their CoPs soon and talk about their plans. We hope to see you there!

Thank you for your continued dedication to advancing global health. Together, we can make a difference.
